This morning I got out for an early morning walk. I passed this interesting wrought iron gate at the entrance to a local cemetery down the street. This weekend I learned, at a local genealogy meeting, that there is apparently a federal law stating that all cemeteries wherein a veteran of the Revolutionary War is laid to rest, must be enclosed by a wrought iron fence.
